A formal presentation ceremony was held on Wednesday 7th March 2018, to mark the completion of a Facilities Management Training for staff of the Facilities Management Division, Office of the Legislative Assembly.
The Ceremony was attended by Ms. Nicki Baird, Country Manager APTC Programme, Vaughan Wakefield, FM Training Facilitator and Sefuiva Charlene Malele, Clerk, Legislative Assembly and Bob Auimatagi, DFAT Infrastructure Program Manager.
At least 10 staff members received a certificate of participation presented by the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ninili Aiomanu.
The training was a two and a half week programme facilitated by Queensland TAFE, Vaughan Wakefield as subcontracted by Manteena, Project management Consultant for the new Parliament building project which focused on occupational health and safety procedures, safe work practices when working around buildings and communicating effectively in the workplace. APTC provided teaching support.
