The State Service for the Tofa Tuiloma Pule Unasa Alaimoana Lameko Gaee, one of the members of the Council of Deputies, took place at the Parliament precinct on Friday 13th April 2018.
The Head of State, Afioga Tuimalealiifano Vaaletoa Sualauvi II, Members of Parliament, representatives from Government Ministries, Diplomatic Corps and the public graced the Parliament Chambers to pay their respects to the member of the Council of Deputies from 9:00am till the commencement of the State Service session at 11:00am.
The State Service was conducted by Rev. Asoli Iuli, Deputy Chairman of the Christian Organization of Samoa and testimonials of the Honorable was enunciated by the Prime Minister, Honorable Tuilaepa Lupesoliai Dr. Sailele Malielegaoi on behalf of the government and Tuiloma Vui Lance Lameko, a representative from the family.
Tofa Tuiloma Pule Unasa Alaimoana Lameko Gaee, was bestowed the title as member of the Council of Deputies by Cabinet and in Parliament on the 27th January 2016. Tuiloma passed away at the age of 83 and has served in senior positions for various sectors of government before becoming a Member of Parliament and later a member of the Council of Deputies.
