Parliament of Samoa Legislative Assembly

Pursuant to Standing Order 32(6), the Legislative Assembly conducted its pre-sitting seminar on Monday, 17th October 2022 at 10:00am at the Maota o Tofilau Eti Alesana building, Mulinuu. The purpose of the seminar, is to explain the Government Bill that will be introduced in the Legislative Assembly, through a briefing of Heads of Ministries responsible for the Bill.
This morning, a brief presentation was given by the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Samoa Ports Authority to clarify the Ports Authority Amendment Bill 2022, which will be introduced in the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday 18th October 2022.
The purpose of this program is to assist and support all Members of Parliament with relevant information to construct their thoughts and speeches during the Second Reading of a Bill introduced to Parliament.
